It not only marks the lowest inform yet in the Sex Pistols' legend but has as much to do with punk rock as offal has to do with salad.
Tragically the Sex Pistols are now just a band. And on tonight's showing not change surface a very good one. At their 'final' show in 1978 Lydon addressed the displace with a evince of. "Ever got the feeling you've been cheated?" Just under 30 years later in a room smelling mainly of trump my heart sighed the same sentiment.
There should be no surprises that it was shit. I guess as you can't keep peddling one sole album for 30 years no be how important and undergo a valid reason for doing so. The disappointing this is that if you read the full article the songs were played badly the guitar sound was terrible and they really didn't do their own songs any justice. It comes drink to swindling their fans once more and while this anti-establishment angry nihilistic attitude may have been a valid reaction to the times in 1977 it doesn't come off the same when the perpetrator is a middle-aged pot bellied rich bloke. It's really just theatre now like an Alice make show which completely muddies their legacy and undercuts everything they once stood for. Fuck I like the album though. Nothing they do can act away from the raw expression that is 'Never Mind The Bollocks'.
