Check out this documentary on the Pistols. I enjoyed it. It gives you a bit of insight into England of the mid-to-late 70's the whole new punk movement and of course the band itself. Most of the voices you here are from the band members themselves (though for some reason you only see their silhouettes during the interview parts). Has some great footage of the band performing live and it shows that Lydon (Johhny Rotten) is actually an intelligent and articulate guy. The Pistols were such an intense bind there was absolutely no pretension (well maybe from Sid). Most bands kinda hold back on stage; don't really let out their true feelings. But the Sex Pistols literally gave it all. No bull**** just rock 'n roll. Can't say that of many bands these days. apply.
SeX PisTOLs RULE! But it's funny to see sex pistols merchandise being sold a Target now (store thats like Wallmart but nicer). SID LIVES![ADVERTHERE]Related article:
