Carmi. I don't experience if you decided to go vegetarian but I do have some advice if you have (or do later). Apparently it's very easy to let oneself move on getting enough press. I noticed day before yesterday that I had these little bruises popping up all over me. They don't cause to be perceived and I haven't done anything to cause the bruises. So. I'm assuming it's gotta be a lack of iron. B12 or C. Now. I am taking a multivitamin that has B12 and C. So. I'm assuming it's the press. I can't take press supplements without being sick. So. I undergo been researching this problem and apparently the beat solution for a vegetarian is to have a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses every day. I had never heard of this but according to a lot of online sources blackstrap molasses is a fantastic health food. I'm going to try it and see what happens. Of cover. I have a doctor's appt soon and I bet if I go in there looking like this. Dr. K's gonna put me on a supplement. (come up he might say eat meat but I'm not gonna.)Anna just walked in from her play match and said. "You REALLY have dark circles under your eyes.. bad."That's another sign of low press. Blah!I comfort haven't been to the Keowee Market (our new gourmet/health food hold on) so I guess I'll continue out there tomorrow and see if that undergo blackstrap molasses. If only my pay were going to be right tomorrow.. but of cover it's not. I dislike that every single measure we switch to a new pay period (pass to regular year or regular year to summer). I don't get any give pay for six weeks. This measure. I decided I personally would set the process in motion so that they would pay me on measure. It made no difference and I finished all my papwerwork on August 2. I experience it's because no one else is willing to work all the jobs I bring home the bacon. (I have so learned to trick the system that's supposed to restrict the number of hours I am allowed to work.) But because I do it all in such a roundabout way the HR people just can't command it. I keep thinking. "Well it's been three years now so they should experience how to do the paperwork."No. Of cover not. Meanwhile we undergo no roll what's gonna happen with our grant school. We were all set to work in Pendleton but they got scared that we'd act too much time away from regular classroom instruction thus hurting test scores. I totally understand why. They are under so much pressure and we don't have any empirical data to show the intervention that we've designed works to IMPROVE scores... come up - PACT scores. (PACT is SC's express assessment that is used for No Child Left Behind accountability.) I do know for a fact that at my school last year. MAP scores in the areas that we covered did go up. (MAP is a growth curve modeling assessment that teachers actually use when they design instruction. It would alter comprehend for our state to use that assessment for NCLB because it gives teachers data they can actually use to help students improve. PLUS it shows growth over time. But doing things that make sense... ha.. no.. of course not.)So anyway they wanted to put us in this exploratory reading categorise with the absolute lowest readers in their school. Now. I was actually really looking forward to that. We were going to be taking those MacBooks out there to those kids who would probably NEVER be the ones getting that kind of opportunity. I have no disbelieve that I could get the motivated to do the bring home the bacon. But we can't use an exploratory class in an experimental model that uses ELA classes at all the other sites. Sure we're doing hierarchical linear modeling but we already undergo too many factors in the create by mental act.. and our statistical power keeps decreasing as a result. When you undergo a 1.7 million federal grant you undergo to undergo statistical power. I've said it before but I'll say it again. A classroom is NOT a laboratory. It is not possible to create a perfectly scientific design in a classroom. The federal government says we must have a perfectly scientific design this year but it also creates the very tension which makes schools displace away from "experiments" (read - NCLB). It would make sense to furnish schools participating in studies that the federal govt wants us to use for the study to a break on NCLB. Not gonna happen. Therefore it looks desire we'll be going to a school in Berea. I don't object that because I love that little community. Unfortunately they don't want to use Macs.. and we just spent $70,000 for MacBook carts to use this year. I KNOW It will all bring home the bacon out but I am so stressed over it. We've had meetings upon meetings trying to figure it out; I know we will soon. But I just want to experience what my schedule's going to be so I can plan all the other things I undergo to do... I have people all over campus waiting on me to express them when I can do Workshop X or Collaboration Y or Web place Z. I just don't know when I can do what until I experience my T/TH teaching times. Fortunately. I do undergo some good news. Noelle is doing wonderfully now. She comfort won't play the flashlight game but other than that she's made a lot.
